No stress, no tests, and no memorizing. In small groups, in a friendly environment, and at a pace that suits the children. With us, children learn English in the way that is most natural for them — through play, movement, songs, stories, conversations, and everyday situations.
Our goal is not to put pressure on children. We want them to build a positive relationship with English, feel comfortable speaking, and gradually gain confidence.
English courses take place in the premises of the Little Kids Village children's group at IQ Centre in the centre of Ostrava.

🟢 Early Learners
First steps in English
For children aged 4–7
This course is ideal for children who are just starting with English, or who already have their first experience and would like to develop it naturally.
Children play, sing, repeat simple phrases, learn new words, and gradually get used to English as a natural part of communication.
The lessons take place without pressure to perform. Children do not have to speak perfectly right away or answer on command. What matters is that they feel safe, understand, join in according to their own abilities, and have a positive experience with English.
What the course gives children:
- first confidence in English,
- understanding of simple words and sentences,
- courage to join activities in English,
- natural expansion of vocabulary,
- a positive relationship with a foreign language,
- joy of learning without stress.
🔵 Young Speakers
When children want to speak English with confidence
For children aged 8–14
This course is designed for children who already know English from school but need to use it more in practice.
At school, children often learn vocabulary and grammar, but they do not always have enough space to really speak. With us, they get time and a safe environment where they can use English naturally, without fear of making mistakes.
The lessons focus on communication, understanding, practical phrases, responses in everyday situations, and gradually building confidence in speaking.
What the course gives children:
- greater confidence when speaking,
- better understanding of English,
- ability to respond in simple situations,
- expansion of practical vocabulary,
- more courage to use English out loud,
- a more positive attitude to English at school and outside school.
How the lessons work
Our lessons are based on natural communication and active participation.
We do not use pressure, testing, or memorizing. Children learn through activities that match their age and abilities.
During the lessons, we use:
- games and movement activities,
- songs and rhythm,
- pictures and stories,
- simple conversations,
- practical situations,
- natural repetition,
- small group work.
Thanks to small groups, the teacher has space to approach children individually and adapt the pace to the group.
Course dates
1st semester: September 8, 2026 – January 5, 2027
2nd semester: January 26, 2027 – May 11, 2027
Each semester includes 16 lessons.
Lessons take place once a week.
The course does not take place during the Christmas break:
December 22, 2026 – January 4, 2027
If a lesson falls on a public holiday, it may be moved to another day in the same week.
🟢 Early Learners – Course Details
Age of children: 4–7 years
Lesson length: 45 minutes per week
Number of lessons: 16 lessons per semester
Group size: 5–6 children
Teacher: English-speaking teacher
Teaching style: playful, natural, stress-free

🔵 Young Speakers – Course Details

Teaching style: communication, practical English, confident speaking
The course gives children more space to speak, react, and use English in practice. The goal is for children not to see English only as a school subject, but as a language they can really use.
